IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Cedar Fern Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Cincinnati with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
