IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Pine Manufacturing and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
