IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Pike Construction and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
