IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services is an inspection company in Spokane with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
