IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Bright Granite Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Cincinnati region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
