IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Silverline Stone Environmental Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
