IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Stonegate Wilder Insurance Group is an insurance company in Dallas with claims and service teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 78 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
