IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Summit Fern Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for school partnerships, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
