IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Lumen Meridian Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
