IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Summit Juniper Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Honolulu. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
