IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Lumen Union Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Pittsburgh. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
