IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Bright Drift Civic Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
