IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Fernwood River Learning Group is an education provider in Wichita serving students and families, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
