IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Ironwood Wren Energy Group is an energy provider in Louisville focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
