IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Harborlight Basin Foods produces packaged foods at its Sacramento plant. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
