IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Ironwood Bright Staffing Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
