IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Lumen Basin Civic Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
