IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Harborlight Ember Markets is a Anchorage retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
