IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Westbrook Kestrel Staffing is a Salt Lake City staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with onboarding. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
