IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Rook Manufacturing Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
