IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Harborlight Forge Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Tampa region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
