IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Northwind Juniper Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
