IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Greenridge Maple Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Baltimore. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
