IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Glen Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Raleigh. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 353 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
