IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Kestrel Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Providence. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
