IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Providence, RI)

Stonegate Cedar Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Providence serving households and small businesses, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
