IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Portland, OR)

Summit Basin Civic Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Portland. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
