IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Portland, OR)

Lumen Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Portland, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Portland. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
