IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Portland, OR)

Redstone Sparrow Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Portland focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
