IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Junction Insurance and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
