IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Westbrook Forge Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Pittsburgh. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
