IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Juniper Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in Pittsburgh with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
