IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Omaha, NE)

Summit Drift Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Omaha. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Benefits and stability attract long tenure. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
