IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Omaha, NE)

Summit Wren Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
