IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Omaha, NE)

Nova Field Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
