IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Oakland, CA)

Stonegate Wilder Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Oakland region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 73 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
