IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Beacon Markets is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
