IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Nashville, TN)

Greenridge Fern Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Nashville area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
