IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Nashville, TN)

Nova Orchard Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Nashville. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 207 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
