IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Milwaukee, WI)

Lumen Mill Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Milwaukee, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
