IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Miami, FL)

Harborlight Quarry Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 823 people based in Miami. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
