IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Mill Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
