IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Cobalt Property Management and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 491 people based in Madison. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with resident events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
