IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Madison, WI)

Nova Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Madison area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Madison. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
