IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Madison, WI)

Silverline Pine Manufacturing is a Madison manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 810 people based in Madison. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
