IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Louisville, KY)

Summit Mill Arts Center Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for school partnerships, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
