IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Union Environmental Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
