IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Corner Water Authority and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
