IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Redstone Rook Water Authority and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
