IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Bright Meadow Water Authority Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
